Shooting arrows at dog

Attended my first class of Computing Essential. Still don't see the reasons to why I'm taking the subject. I don't denied the importance of technologies in my life as I, myself depends 24/7 on technologies. My alarm clock is my phone, my daily class schedule is in my phone and I'm on FB more than 8 hours a day to get rid of my loneliness. I rely much on my laptop to update me on current news happening across the globe and I blog as my diary. By being digitally illiterate do have it advantages but am I suppose to know what's the differences between a tablet, laptop, netbook and ultrathin? It might helps in future if my current laptop breaks down and I need a new one. But other than that, what do I need it for? How can you expect me to know the functions of hard disk or the RAM? I began to wonder whether I'm taking Computer Programming course or Foundation in Science? You can't expect me to willingly to be in that class with a smiling face and enthusiastic character coz I'm not! I'm fucking blur as hell! It feels like Ms Veronica suddenly talk some alien language. On the bright side, it might be helpful if I don't manage to graduate again (by that I meant proceed to degree in Pharmacy), I might be a gadget saleswoman. *note the sarcasm

And the fact that I need to waste RM 40 to buy book just for the subject that will be using for only 4 months. Urghh. Such a pain in the ass. This shall be my first purchase ever. I don't see why I need to buy books when library has everything I need. Why waste the money? UCSI should perhaps consider having more useful subjects for Science streamed students for the balanced credit hours. Like 'Physiological Science' course or something. At least something related to medic field so it would be more useful in future for the students. It doesn't make things any better to know that there's as high as 70% rate of failing this subject. I'm not gonna screw my foundation again! Count me on that. Talking about this, the problems regarding my transcript is all done. I managed to take the D out of there but the course's name still remain. I'm not fond of the idea having it there for nothing but apparently that's the best Registrar can offers. Take what you're offered and don't complain more.

As for this week news, Terengganu's Menteri Besar, Datuk Ahmad Said had resigned. What happen was a joke to laugh on for the coming weekends. On 13 May, Ahmad Said resigned from his post and hours later quit UMNO. Quite a drama and chaos for Terengganu people. Some said he was a traitor and bla bla. Drama ended when Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib intervened. Personally, I think Terengganu people is more saddened to the fact that there's no more free ebooks after this. Hahaha. The ebooks after all was given under Ahmad Said ruling and now that we have a new Menteri Besar, things might work the other way round. So let us sit back and watch what the new MB, Datuk Ahmad Razif gotta offered.

2008 - 2014

As for few days back, netizens are angered by the action of a man who allegedly shot arrows at a partially blind dog. The poor dog was being shot twice with arrows after it stood outside the man's gate. The female dog who was named Brianna, is estimated to be 12 years of age, appears to have hip dysplasia which explain the reason why she doesn't run away. The dog was believed to be a Rottweiler, was found to have anemia and is suffering from tick fever and heartworm. It is believed that it has lost it's way home as the dog was found with a collar on its neck.

The dog, wearing a collar, with two arrows lodged in its body.

It's sad to see that clearly that man has no remorse on his actions. The fact that he can stand proudly for his picture to be taken shows how he feels about it. As what one of the netizens said, "Shooting arrows at dogs? Are we barbaric?" I'm more saddened to the fact that Malaysia laws on animal cruelty are so loose. The case is being probed under Section 429 of the Penal Code for mischief by killing or maiming any animal of the value of RM 25 and above. Those found guilty of the offence face a maximum jail term of 5 years. That is all Malaysia laws gotta offered. It feels as it they are encouraging the act of cruelty. What is a nation if we support cruelty and animal abuse?

Here in Malaysia we don't have any government bodies that protect these harmless little creatures. We don't have SPCA to fight for justice for these abused dogs and cats. We only have a bunch dedicated animal lovers that are willing to spend their time and effort to obtain justice, care and love for these creatures. However, I'm glad to the fact that in this time of need and support, Malaysians regardless of races and political stands unite as one. Whether you're a Malay or a Chinese or an Indian, we do all agreed that this man has no right to shoot arrows at the dogs regardless of what he claims to do. He claimed to be protecting his children. Beg your pardon but what can a partially blind dog with a hip dysplasia do to your kids?

This is what being caught in the act. What about those behind the cameras? We don't know how many more dogs and cats out there that are being mistreated. We should for once and for all put a stop at this kind of act. Perhaps, more strict laws should be amended. But it all depends on the hands of the law makers. Would they amend stricter laws for animals abuser? That is what I'm waiting for. For them to realize that laws isn't all about humans but to animals too. I shall be waiting for the day where animals abuser would be facing with harsher punishment thou there's like 0.0001% chances of that happening.

Last night or the previous two days ago, when they, the volunteers of MDDB rescued Brianna, they have problems admitting the dog to the vet. For some reason, some particular vets just don't wanna take her in coz she's full of mites. Currently, she's admitted at one of MDDB regular veterinary clinics. The vet says her blood is as thin as water. MDDB pledged public to help to see Brianna through. Donations can be done to those following details that I've attached below.
