The drama is the adaption from the novel Fengshen Bang (also known as Investiture of teh Gods or Creation of the Gods), Nezha's childhood was different from his two older brothers, Muzha and Jinzha. Since born, his father despite him, Due to his naughtiness, he was sent to temple to stay. Her mother would accompany him there, teaching him how to write even thou she's illiterate. Late King Zhou later had a dream that Nezha would killed his son so he ordered Li Jing, the General to kill his own son. Li Jing is known for his loyalty to his king and country. With much persuasion from his wife, they left Nezha alone to defend himself from the hungry tigers at the Tiger Mountains.
Amazingly, Nezha survived and grew up with Yang Jian (three eyed boy) and LeiZhenZi (flying boy). Many incidents happen in between. That's not my prime focus. In an incident, Nezha killed the third son of the East Sea Dragon King. Dragon King threatened to flood Chentang Pass and report Nezha to the Jade Emperor. To save his family and the people of Chentang Pass, Nezha committed suicide himself by craving up his own flesh and dismembering his bones to return to his parents in repayment for the debt of his birth, bones back to his father and flesh back to his mother. The most touching part in the drama is where Nezha killed himself and the part where Lady Lin died due to fox's poison. I weep and weep at both parts.
For this Mother's Day, I just wanna give my salute to all mothers out there for their love and patience. Lady Yin does not give up on Nezha even thou he's naughty and stubborn. Even after Nezha had committed suicide, she found ways to bring Nezha back to life. She built him a temple for his soul to rest before being reborn after 3 years. In the duration of 3 years, the temple became very well known and grew vastly because Nezha granted miracle cures to the sick and the crippled. However, Nezha's statue was then being destroyed by his step-mother. Lady Lin then went to beg Taiyi Zhenren who later then used lotus roots to reconstruct a human body for Nezha soul. Personally, I think Lady Lin wants to pay her debt towards Nezha for abandoning him when he's small. She paid all her attention and efforts on Nezha till the day she died.
My message here is that mothers would go all out to protect their child no matter how naughty or stubborn they are. So appreciate your mum when they're still here. For one, I'm definitely not an easy child to care. This little girl here whose not that little girl anymore, used to be naughty and mischievous too. She would often fought with her siblings, creating mess and chaos everywhere. Yet, her mom would still enters her room by night to take a look at her. There was this one incident where she fought with her mum that she was so angry that she pushed all her furniture to the back of the door to prevent her mother from entering. With all her might, her mum still pushed her way in leaving cuts in her hands just to put cream on her daughter blistering hands.
Mothers have eyes in the backs of our heads.
Over all our thoughts there hangs a moon.

For this Mother's Day, I bought Mami flowers, frozen flowers to be specific. The special thing about these flowers are that they bloom when the environment is cold and dry and close when the weather is wet and warm within seconds. Frozen flower is said to symbolized everlasting loves as they can last for 10 years. They come in various color. The best thing about frozen flowers are that they do not need watering, fertilizer and sunlight. Minimal amount of care needed.
Some might say, "Where got such thing?" No need water where can live. Must be plastic. Let me tell you that as what they're advertising, it is said that the flowers are real. It is a type of chrysantheMUM (which makes it more suitable for MUM on Mother's Day) that are processed using frosting technology to sustain the softness and moisture of the flower. They are fully imported on Taiwan. The flowers will not wilt because they have been frosted. It is recommend to water the flower 3-5 times only a week. How convenient! The best part is that one need not to worry if they forget to water the flower coz frozen flower can last more than a month without watering.
The drawbacks are that they are not sold in seeds. They came in pots, nicely arranged. Since it's frozen, they will no longer grow. Furthermore, it is an indoor plant which means it does not require sunlight. It is advisable to not expose it under sunlight directly for more than 10 minutes or they will get burnt. They can be put in an air-con room as the are meant to be hassle free and fit for modern living.
It seems like it's just too good to be true, hor? I've already paid for the flowers. Just waiting for them to delivery to our front door. Yeah. It will be a late Mother's Day gift. I just hope it will arrive. I'll be devastated if I got scam. Not because of the amount of money that I've paid, thou it's quite pricy la but I'll be damned for not doing anything for Mother's Day. Mousy said Mum's already nosy at her for not giving her anything. Mousy just have to keep her mouth shut until the flowers arrived. This gift will be a sharing gift from me and Mousy. Finger cross. It better arrive. In good condition and fast. I originally wanted the heart-shaped pot one but they're out of stock. So I'll go with the Candy Jar one. Bo bian. Too last minute. I'll shall update more on this Frozen Flower which seems to good to be true if it arrives.
What is my that small little flower pot compare to what Mami has done for me and the rest of us. It's just a token of appreciation to show her that she's being appreciated. Just a small flower pot to make her day. Her dedication, love and time are priceless. I'll can never repay her for that. Before I end, here's a poem (not mine) to all amazing mothers out there!
