1. Finally finish another year of Foundation. Not proud but very ashamed of myself. Result just came out a few days ago. Got an overall pointer of 3.32. Requirement for Pharmacy in UCSI drop 3 but there's a slight problem here where I managed to obtain a C+ for my Calculus. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY?! After all the effort I put into revision and extra exercise, I, Karen still managed to get a C. That C would be a problem for me to proceed to my degree. Shall pray harder!!!
2. Just came back from Bangkok few days ago. Well, scratch that. Came back on 28 Dec, the day the AirAsia plane from Surabaya to Singapore lost contact. In fact, we're about to boards when we received the news. My thoughts and feelings at that time? Scared, worried etc. Any synonyms that goes with it. Seconds before boarding, we're hugging each other so tightly. Just to ease the uneasiness. Well, at least if the plane crashed, we'll go to hell together. All hands in hands.
Update: The plane is found crashing deep down in the ocean. Most probably due to the strong wind. Since we're on thing, here I am sending my deepest condolences to those on board. And also just a day ago, I think AirAsia plane from Vietnam did emergency landing? Don't really paid attention on the news about that. Sorry if the news is misleading. Was so busy with the business currently. Spending more than 12 hours in front of the lappy, uploading stock.
3. Regarding the business, I once vowed that 10% of the profit from the business will be going as donation to NGO. Once I reached my first thousand, I'll give RM 100 as donation. I know it's not much but that's the least I can do as a part of the society. West Peninsular Malaysia here are drowned by flood, particularly Terengganu, Kelantan, Pahang and Perak. This food is like never before. Water went as high as 2 stories high, destroying almost everything. Taking human lives like nobody business. Feel so helpless seeing those affected.
There's a thought urging me to be a volunteer but seeing how serious is the condition, Mami would probably object my decision. Fine! I'll do my part here. Raising my own money to make a donation. Since small, I always stared at the donation box when it was passed around, collecting donation for students whose parents just passed away. I never did make any donation thou. I feel that if I am to make one, it must be from me, not my parents. That's just not right! Since I'm able to make my own money, I'm more than willing to donate. I just need to find the right channel so my donation goes to the person in need.
4. A month before our final (during Deepavali), Sha's cousin brother was admitted for cancer. He fell into coma for a few days. They admitted him to a private hospital where a skin specialist was in charge because doctor-in-charge was on holiday. The skin specialist made things worst before they had him transferred to a better hospital. That's not my point. Her cousin woke up after a week in coma. Just when everyone assumed the worst he woke up. Is this what they call the 'miracle'? I don't understand! Why this miracle does not happen on Daddy? I remember talking everyday to Dad when he was in coma, praying to God silently each day for a miracle to happen. But then, miracle never comes. He still left us at the end. Miss you, Dad!
Well, that's the short update from me. Gotta go sleep for tomorrow early breakfast. New Year Resolution shall be LOSING WEIGHT & MAKING MORE MONEY!! Gained a total of 3 kg from Bangkok. Back to zero, we go! Haihhhh
