Day 2: Hong Island
Day 3: Phi Phi Island
Day 4: Tree Top Adventure

(5/6/15) Today, we went on the Krabi attractions tour for THB 1,200 per head. We started off with an hour of jungle trekking on elephants.

Mum, Eric and I
It was a very bumpy ride and Eric kept complaining throughout the journey,
which is annoying, if you ask me

Second stop for the day, the Tiger Cave Temple

This is where the tiger used to seek refuge

1237 steps of staircase behind the golden Buddhas lead to the hilltop where the Giant Golden Buddha statue is

Sisterhood!

Next, the Hot Spring Waterfall

It was nice soaking my tired feet in here

The stream was too crowded when we reached and adding up the steam from the water,
naturally I gave up trying to take photos there.
Instead, I shamely sneaked and took photos of hot dudes

After lunch, our next stop was the Emerald Pool.
Here is the entrance leading to the pool

Many vendors selling local delicacies

We should have tried these eggs.
I wonder how they taste

It was a 800 meters walk from the main entrance
Talking about stamina, we, the young kids just need to stop and sit for a while

The beautiful green pool and hence the name Emerald Pool
I wondered where the emerald color came from as the bottom of the surface is white sand

With Michelle who joined us this trip

Walking about 40 minutes up to the natural emerald colored pool was one thing. While we enjoyed ourselves, it rained heavily that we got stuck there for almost an hour. There is no way of leaving without getting soaked by the time we reached the entrance. Please also do take note that there is no toilet or changing room in the area. It was quite difficult changing the wet attire in public (well, being covered up by towels, of course).

Tonight, we had dinner at the famous Ruen Mai Restaurant, recommended by our tour agent.
We gave up the night market tour in Krabi town to he here.
And they definitely didn't disappoint us

The restaurant was built on bamboo sticks in a shape of a cone

We ordered quite a lot of dishes that night. Their must-have are the roasted duck curry, panaeng curry and prawns in tamarind sauce. I am very sure that their friendly waitress there would be glad to assist you by recommending you with all their best dishes, if you ask.

Here at the Krabi iconic crab structure in Krabi Town.
This Crab to Krabi is just like the Eiffel Tower to Paris

Before boarding the van for another 30 minutes back to Ao Nang
This eagle structure is just a few meters away from the Crab

This ends our day 5 journey in Krabi.
Next day, we shall go for more adrenaline rush
