Day 1: Krabi, here we come
Day 2: Hong Island
Day 3: Phi Phi Island
Day 4: Tree Top Adventure
Day 5: Day 5: Elephant Trekking, Tiger Cave Temple, Hot Spring Waterfall & Emerald Pool

(6/6/15) Our day 6 in Krabi started at 8.30 am when our van picked us up at our villa door. Last year, we went to Phuket (remember ?) and played 5 km of white water rafting, we decided that it was so fun and want to go for the 9 km challenge. We took the package with Song Preak Rafting this time as it comes with an hour of 250 cc ATV  in the jungle.

The ATV ride was really fun, to say. We went up slopes, down the rivers and even drive on the main road. This is new as the other day in Phuket, it was only a 15 minutes ride. I'm embarrassed to say this but I got stuck twice when turning. Handling an ATV requires too much of hand muscles.

Next up, White Water Rafting

The real deal sight
We had to give way to Island Safari rafts first

We, the kids are disappointed with our white water rafting this round. Probably, it was drought season in Krabi so there's not much adrenaline rush. I was actually complaining bored the whole ride. Of the whole 2 hours rafting, the excitement only came the last 10 minutes. There are a lot of White Water Rafting operators in Phang-Nga district so it depends on luck. Whether you're from Phuket or Krabi, it will take about an hour and half to reach.

I'm not trying to ruin anyone's business here but then, hey I'm not any famous blogger with thousands of view daily that may risk others' income. I'm just giving a piece of advice to my small group of readers. We went with Island Safari Co. Ltd. last year and there was a dam right in front their base camp. So we guessed, it is them that holds the water. So if you want to more of the fun and no waiting behind queues, go with Island Safari.

Island Safari is where all the excitement is

After a good lunch at the base camp, we went up the hill to Tone Pariwat Waterfall.
The waterfall is 15 minutes drive away from the base camp.

We were greeted by so many fish at the waterfall.
These fish are used to human contact, they come so close to you that you can almost touch them

Last stop, The Monkey Cave.
We are glad we visited this place as even the monarchs of Thailand came to visit

Outside the Monkey Cave, we were greeted by tens of monkeys.
Here is me at a distance because I'm scared

These monkeys are in terrible conditions with wounds everywhere

Day 6 ended at 7 pm with all slept through the journey back to the villa.
