Day 1: Krabi, here we come
Day 2: Hong Island
Day 3: Phi Phi Island
(4/6/15) Our Tree Top Adventure started today at 11.30 am where we were picked up by our van. It took us around 20 minutes to get to the entrance of the Tree Top park where each of us paid THB 1250 for the adventure. For those that do not want to join the fun, you only need to pay THB 400 for the lunch and transport. There are 4 different courses; easy/beginner (green), intermediate (blue), fly high challenge (red) and also exercise challenge (black). To participate, you need to be at least 120 cm regardless of age. Red course requires a minimum height of 140 cm while black course is only open for those with heart of a lion.
At the main entrance
From here we walked another 5 minutes
This is where all the fun begins
The park lobby
There will be a briefing lesson by the guides on the safety rules that we must follow
Everyone paid rapt attention since it is a matter of life and death
There will also be training lesson before the real deal
First step into adventure
Level 1 begins.
A lot of smiles and happy faces on Level 1
Brave Eric trying his best
It was very hard here that even I trembled with fear
Lunch after completing Level 1
Level 2 begins immediately after lunch
I didn't think that it would be so hard balancing a bicycle so up high
Everyone helped each other to get through each challenge.
That is where the family fun is
Danny is very brave
I was screaming and cursing here because the ropes shake too much
We had to climb a rocky cliff to start Level 3 (red course).
From here on, each station got higher than the previous one
This is about 30 meters off ground
One of the many courses in Level 4
This level challenge our muscle strength
This is a lot harder than it looks
The bamboo that we stand on is very movable, making it hard to stay balance
This is very tough on both hands and legs
Make a wrong move and your legs may split to almost 180 degree apart
We conquered all 50 hurdles while shouting, screaming, laughing and cursing away in the jungle
For those with kids, this is a must do when you are in Krabi.
This is our first tree top experience and it was worth every cent, minute and calorie spent. We got closer as a family as we overcome hurdles after hurdles, sharing laughter, tears, pain and joy. Don't worry too much as the guides will come to aid whenever the need arises.
