COUSY ?!

It's 5 o'clock in the morning now, here in Malaysia. One would probably thinks that I'm crazy fr sitting here typing an entry instead of sleeping or just because I'm too free or something. Actually, I don't. I have plans for tomorrow, which is today but since I haven't sleep I take it that the day haven't over. I'm just gonna type my today's diary real fast while stuffing my earphones in my ears with Bonfire Heart by James Blunt repeatedly in my ears. Hahaha. Having obsession with the song right now. You know how when you really like that particular song, listen repeatedly to it till you get bored of it and even Google out the lyrics to sing along? Well, I'm doing all that now. Yeah. I even downloading it now to have it on my mp3 since I'm hearing it from YouTube now.

It's 26 November and I shall remember this day forever. It's a day full with mixed feelings. Mum just dropped a bombshell right on top of me. I've never thought that one day I'll ever heard of him again. Nor that he'll have kid. It's a big news that I still need some time to process. I'm dumb fold when Mum told me this piece of news. I'm confused. What response should I give? Happy? Sad? Confused? I just don't know. Well, I should probably congratulate him for the new born. Deep down I'm happy that I have another cousin to play with. Both Mum and Dad are not from big families. Dad has a younger brother with is him while Mum has two older brother. Dad's little brother has no child, well at least it was that till today. Mum's oldest brother also has no child while his second brother has 3 children. However, we're not that close. Maybe it's because we went to different school which are totally different in everything. And maybe it's because both families can't really get along.

I guess cousy-cousy relationship is not that important as we're five here. We never get bored or lonely that we need to find friends or cousins to play with. Hearing the news, I also get sad. Partly because I know we're never gonna meet anyways. It's hard to explain all the conflicts going on and I don't wish to explain too. It's too private. I think Dad would be very happy to hear that his younger brother finally have kid of his own. Adding to the joy, it's a BOY!! The bond between Dad and his brother is very strong and perhaps stronger than what we have here. Dad would go all for his brother. I still remember how Dad went down town to the Pharmacy to just buy some medicine for his brother the night where he's sick and weak just so he could brought the medicine to his brother in Singapore. Some may think that Singapore don't have that medicine ah? It's very obvious that the medicine is selling much cheaper here than Singapore.

Being curious, I went over to stalk his Facebook to see a glimpse of my cousy. Sad to say, there's nothing. Nevermind. I wish him all healthy and faster faster grown up. The last time I saw him was 5 years ago. I don't even remember anymore what's the last thing that we talked about. Frankly speaking, I never ever thought that I'll be thinking about him anymore. At least not till today. I do all measure to stop myself from talking about him. I still hate him to the core of my heart for what he have been doing to us all. And this hateful feeling shall live with me for the rest of my life. Blood is thicker than water?? That is all bullshit. Even relatives leave you when you're in hard situations. I shall not forgive him ever!

Enough of those deadly glare. It won't get me anywhere. So today Anut Jaz treated us for dinner at Tappers! Finally got to taste some Italian and Western food. Ever since Tappers opened, we, the 5 haven't eaten there cox teh food there is a little pricey than we normally had. The price range is from RM 10 - RM 20. Whoa! It may surprise you guys and say that the price is so normal so what the problem there. The problem is in a small town like this, RM 6 for a plate of meal would be considered expensive already. It may be normal for big cities but definitely not normal here. Tapper's we go!!

Tappers !

First of all, the deco. Love the deco and the cozy ambience. It's a little like English garden kinda theme where everything is all white with small flower pots as decorations.

It's hard to decide what to eat since all look delicious!
Too bad the tummy can't fit all.
Hmmm

It's sound ridiculous but I've never had spaghetti before in my life. So today I decided to break
the rules and ordered a Spaghetti Carbonara for myself. For those who have never tried of carbonara before or even to those who have tried it before, pretend that you don't , the spaghetti was too creamy for my liking. And for all the cream that enter my system, I pray very hard that I'll not gain a lot of weight from it. I would cry if the weighing balance showed the number 7 and 4 tomorrow as I take every measures I can to just touched 72.5 kilos.

But I can't denied that I really enjoy twisting the spaghetti around the fork with the help
of the spoon like how a high class lady would dine. =D

Tigress's Chicken Parmigiana

Too bad I'm not

Mousy's and Snakey's Chicken Schnitzel

It served in big portion. You should share it unless you have real big appetite.

Aunt Jaz's Roasted Chicken

pieces on the plate. Overall, I love it.

Goaty's Tappers Mini Chicken Chop

Comment: I just can't stand the potato and carrot!! Forgive me but it really make the

Laughing My Heads Off

I was writing the previous entry (last night) while actually doing other stuff like stalking and watching YouTube videos cox I just don't have the mood to rewrite everything again. That's when I remember Tigress saying how her photos when all to public view when she had a blog last time. (She shut it down when she found out her photos when all public. She's not aware of that and she had the blog cox the school teacher was teaching them on some bloggie stuff. ) So, I went to Google and typed out "Karen Chiok" before clicking the button search. That's when my prom photos came to view. LOL! It was so embarrassing. Can't believe that my friend would posting those ugly photos of mine up. LOOOLLL. So gonna kill her after this. It was my prom as a senior. The theme of the night was masquerade which explains why all of us were in masks. Gahh. So embarrassing. I look like a bloody fat cow dressed in red. =.= It was also the last prom for Interact Club before it was shut down by the stupid pig head principle claiming that it's a nonsense club and all. Almost the entire population of teachers in school hate our club. It's a sad thing. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my days being with Interact Club.

Lets ignore the juniors and only focused on the seniors.
I just can't find any pictures of only us the seniors
Starting from the left pink is Chua, Audrie, Fang Xian, Darunee, Lynn, Fat Cow, Alicia
LOL Wei Qi jie is missing here!

Girls power!
With fellow Rotarians photo-bombing
=.=

Me & Tigress

This is the only prom that I actually bought my dress. The previous two proms, I just lend Mum's dress. Well, since she's smaller a little than me, I guess I just fit her dress. Since it's my last year, I actually asked help from Mk Ee, Ck Pa's wifey. So we went dress hunting when I spotted this dress and literally fell in love! It is a nice dress but maybe it jus don't suit me well. I'm just too stubborn to hear! Most of the accessories were from Mum's and Mk Ee's. Me, Darunee and Chua went to saloon to get the hair done. I just have to admit that the gold color on the hair just made me old!! Gold is so NO NO! Make ups were done by Mk Ee. Thanks a lot! ^_^

Bestie, Dylan & Tigress

Such an ugly shot
It look as if my eyes is one big and one small
=.=

Unbalanced eyes again. *sigh

Right: Audrie

The three of us!

Last but not least,
the Fat Cow with the Prom King of the night

I would say that I'm not a fan of fancy dinners and stuff. I hate make ups. Till now, almost into 19, I never wear make ups for daily basis. I don't like the idea of painting my face. Well, I don't actually apply anything to my face either. I'm just too lazy to do that. Hihihi.. I started going for fancy dinners/proms the very same year I joined Interact Club which was the year 2009. It is compulsory for all Interactors.

Our first Interact Dinner with very few number of Interactors coz it's a new club in school. And they all stay faithful till the end! It was held in Ibai Golf Resort. A very meaningful event for all of us.

All looked kuai zai
Spot me??
>.<

With fellow Rotarians and Interactors
Not forgetting our beloved teacher advisor, Teacher Wan

The following next year. Same venue but with more members!

From left: Lynn, Fat Cow, Farah, Don't know who, Darunee,
Alicia, Ang, Wei Qi, Ong, Dylan, Ng and Koh

Apart form the Malays, we are mostly friends since childhood except for Lynn who joined the group later. LOL! No difference anyway. I still love her! *muaks

More group photos with Chua and Audrie in it!

Bestie!!
Miss him right now.
We fought over silly things and haven't been talking for almost 6 months already
=(
Ego is eating me alive now!!

This is the one where we (me and my friends) were the committees for the event. I dare say that it's a hard job to make an event so successful. It takes many hard works and cooperation. It's not actually prom in our definition. We called this kind of night as Interact Installation Night where the previous Board Of Directors stepped down and officially handed in their post to the new BOD. This is the night where you know your hard works being rewarded or people with no work claiming that they're doing work. LOL! Nevermind. I'm just mumbling over some stupid issues that idiotic people messed about years ago!

Our childhood photos?
Here is it!

I guess we don't really change much. So one can still recognize who and who.
The photos taken were after UPSR where there's no more classes
and we basically went to school to play!!
#WhatPubertyDidToUs

Childhood is the best where everything is as simple as ABC

XOXO~

Seeing me so old in the photos makes me bo kang guan and
so today I took out the red roses dress again and cam-whore with it

Nahhh
LOOK!!

I doesn't look that old, did I?

And that I better off without makeups, right?

Puffer fish!!

A Bet Made

Today, the brave and mighty me had made the scariest bet ever with the scariest person on Earth. The person is no other than my god-father, the Great Tiger. What have I got myself into?! Damn!! I've just made an agreement to lose 10 kg in two months! Call me a saint if I win the bet! If I fail to win, I don't know what will happen to me but if I win Great Tiger will treat me makan~ *sigh Food made me live in misery! Why oh Food? Why are you so yummy? Why are you so eatable? Why are you so delicious? This is all your fault!

Great Tiger !!

Great Tiger has been Dad's bestie since young. They're both like brothers with different mothers. Their friendship last forever! *sigh I'm jeally of their friendship. In today world, where to find this kind of friendship already. If it's not you makan me than it must be I makan you. Great Tiger is the scariest person on Earth? Yeah. I bet it is! You wouldn't want to go near him when he's mad. Truthfully, I'm afraid of him thou I know very well that he doesn't eat me.

And I was watching Akademi Fantasia last night, cheering for Aisyah when the dreadful phone call came. I should have not pick up the call! Upon answering, we, the three of us (Mousy, Fat Goatty and me) have to go next door. And yeap, Great Tiger is our neighbor. Best friend got to stay near you ma. My heart was into adrenaline rush. Many thoughts were flashing back and forth trying to find any mistake that I've made for us to call upon the great and wise Tiger. There were so many lo. The main one would be I fight with Dylan, my bestie for some reasons. Happen long ago already so lazy want to explain anymore. Secondly would be on my studies. Besides that, I don't think I've done anything out of the book recently. I didn't swear of fuck in FB anymore. I don't shared any censored thingy. No. Nothing.

Was so 'debor'. My heart was pumping so hard that I thought it would jump right out of my chest. And all the worries flew away the moment Great Tiger asked us to stand behind the door. He's going to measured us. Cehhh... Wak takut je. And I gain another 1 cm from last year, making my height now 167 cm. Was actually hopping for 170 cm but 167 is good to go. So this time round is not all about height but also weight! =.= I knew this moment would come. I'm dead after stepping on the weighing scale. And I literally die! 78.4 was the number on the weighing scale. WAS! I've plan to change that. The number will not be there for long!

I'm not that fat la. But slightly overweight. Slightly. 68 kg would be good for me and it's my goal for the next two months! I really gotta work hard this time round. I don't want to face the Majesty again. Tears flow becox I was to nervous to be call upon by the mighty Majesty and it was for nothing. Stupid me.

NOT FOR LONG!!

Saying goodbye to this...

BYE!!

Nothing is impossible cox even the word spell I'M POSSIBLE!!
XOXO~

Dreadful Place

As long as you live, there would be at least once that you step your feet into hospital ground for various reason. There may be good and bad for going to the hospital. All in all, HOSPITAL remains to be a dreadful place for me for the past 5 years. And again, today I went to the hospital to visit my Ku Kong aka Uncle (my Mum's Mother's Brother) who was admitted since 14 October.

Being in the GH with those doctors and nurses with all those chemical smell brings back all those bad memories that I would never want to recall. No doubt, I also hate practical doctors to be specific. These days, everyone can be a doctor. Whether you know it or not, there's lots of doctors out there. All you need is a cert to prove that you are a doctor. Lots of private medical college and universities for you out there. All you need is just money. Doctors today can be divided to 3 groups. First, the professional doctors, SPECIALIST which is the one you should go for if you have the money. Secondly, the middle class doctors, NORMAL doctors. In the third rank, the TESTING doctors where they take you as lab mice and test on you, mostly PRATICAL doctors.

Dad was admitted into GH for almost a month, here in my hometown as it was nearly December that time which was also Back-To-School month. Dad refused to go Singapore to seek for his medication as there would be no one here to help us with our stationary, uniform etc. During his hospitalization here, I would everyday went to accompanied him during the holidays and after schools. I saw how those practical doctors poked on my Dad to find his vein for injection. Dad that time was super skinny and all the veins popped out but yet they can't poked the right hole. What they can say is, "Sorry, uncle. Try next hand." FUCK YOU!!

Mum was the best mum and wife. For the whole one month, she was with Dad the whole time at the hospital at night sleeping at the wooden chair, tolerating Dad's craving and all with us here back home seeking for her attention desperately. Being in hospital almost everyday in the normal class ward had really opened my eyes. Everyday, more and more patients coming in with all types of illness.

I've actually seen a patient with convulsions. He was placed right beside Dad. It was noon that day, after visiting hours, with Dad taking his nap and I was doing my homework when suddenly nurses pushed a bed thru us to the empty bed beside Dad's. Being curious, I peeped over when suddenly the man was shacking rapidly and uncontrollably. Few doctors and nurses were needed to hold him into place. Then, the curtain was pulled and everything went quiet again.

There was this Negro or African doctor who was very good. I don't know him as when he came checking Dad, I was always away but his needle was never missed. With him doing the injection, there's no pain in Dad's face as I looked. He's in a calm state which I am very happy of.

There's also happy memory there. Mind you, it's in single form and not plural form. This one happy memory is when Dad decided to go back home for a few hours that day. I pushed Dad quietly out of the wards, down the corridors that very afternoon, into Mum's car that was waiting for us down below. Dad went home for about 3 hours that day, taking his time to shower and seeing his kids after so long being admitted. And yeah, I was the only one beside Mum that went to the hospitals. The rest of the siblings were not allowed to go to the hospital as there's lots of disease and all there.

We got caught when Popo phoned our aunt who was working as a nurse there at the hospital to informed that Dad had went back. LOL! When we're back to the hospital, the nurses there scolded me for our sweet getaway. Whatever. As long as Dad's happy, I don't mind. -_- There's time where we sneaked in food for Dad as hospital's food taste real bad. And there are times where close relatives and friends that came to visit Dad, giving him encouragement and all.

Today, going to the same hospital again, those memories emerged from the very back of my thoughts. Along the walking corridors, me and Mum went on and on about how we used to come taking care of Dad, being in the same floors as Dad used to be, the familiar pavement and all. Both of us agreed that time flies. in a blink of an eye, Dad has left us for almost 5 years 6 months already. One thing for sure, we missed him dearly. Those memories being with him keep him alive in our hearts.

Miss you, Dad!

On the way home, Mum went doing throwback. Life was no easy in her younger days. Her dad, my Grandpa passed away when she was 3. Mum was born in Hospital Kandang Kerbau (old name), and was now Mount Elizabeth. She was a Singaporean. After her dad passed away, Grandma brought them back here to her hometown, Terengganu. It was Ku Kong that settle all their citizenship and all. Life was no much difference back here. Grandma went doing small business all around to keep their stomach full. Life was indeed hard.
Today, no doubt, we have a better live than my Mum's. Living comfortably, stomach filled and with no worries. Younger generations today should be grateful for what they have. Take Kevin, the useless brat for example. Recently he just bought Samsung Grand at RM 1199. At so young age, he started to compare what others have and what he does not have. At 12 years of age, a phone that cost almost people's one month salary is a big deal for me.
I first got my phone at 12 y/o too. It was far from what he get. I got a secondhand phone from Dad, Nokia 6100 which was originally his for my rewards for getting 3rd in class for Year 5 year end exams.

This was already good that time. It has colored screen, GPRS and all. The moment when your friends started to wow at your phone was almost as good as eating McDonald's GCB. Few years later, the phone's function started to deteriorate and that when I found a Nokia 3100 in Dad's bin. Picked it up and surprised that it can still function. I used it till Form 4.

A wave of Sony Ecicsson hit that year. Later that, after PMR, I started working part-time and managed to collect enough money to buy a Sony Ericsson  C 902 which is still in good condition till today.

Back in 2012, end of June, Mum bought me a Samsung SII as I'm going study aboard with all using 'smak' phones, I do not want to left out too. Besides, communication is way easier with Whatapps, Skype and many more. Not a year using the phone, in May 2013, I literally 'soaked' (that what's Mum called it) the phone into the sea water when I brought Xiao Ai to the beach for a swim. Mum realized that I can't live without a phone and she gave me her S II to use. Till now, I'm still happy with my S II. No plans in near future to change a phone thou I really love Samsung Note 2.

Kevin? He started using phone early this year with a RM 400 Samsung Galaxy (Y)oung before selling off to the maid who is going back at that time and then bought a RM 1199 Galaxy Grand.

Kids these days !@#$%^&*
